Designing Facilitated Events

The neutrality of the facilitator can have a deep and lasting impact on a team seeking participation, ownership and creativity.

2016-current

From one-day or even half-day team building events to residential programmes for groups of technical experts or strategic planning teams, I design, plan and deliver bespoke, goal-focussed events and experiences (Bordeaux, Rome, Paris, New Delhi, Beijing, Vanuatu, Almaty)

2015

This year in Paris for a group of Chairpersons from different committees linked to Standard Setting in Food Safety I worked on the design, development and then the facilitation of a 2-day residential event which aimed to harmonise and strengthen communication amongst the group.

Also this year with the Codex Alimentarius Secretariat I ran a consensus workshop session looking at roles and responsibilities as well as how the Secretariat communicates both internally and externally.

2014

A UN publications group had undergone change and the objective of this facilitated event over two half days was to discover how the new team could provide the best, most up-to-date information possible to its targeted audiences.
