I have seen several train stations recently and get drawn towards the sharp lines they create. Are they giving real perspective?
I can’t seem to stop taking these picture. There is something both comforting and challenging about train lines moving off into the distance. They offer choice, they can indicate direction, the challenge of a new journey. What is that saying: you can pick a destination but not the journey?
The train station is one of those romantic places that signal movement, change and choices. As travel restrictions ease you see people on the move again and have a chance to observe fond farewells and exciting arrivals.
The tracks seem to go on and on, tirelessly and relentlessly mapping out new directions and destinations.
Time to make a choice.
