As usual with President Obama, notice the simple, clear language and the very striking image of the UK being last in line to cut a trade deal with the US if they are outside the EU. A most elegant warning and a big present for Cameron.
For lovers of body language, note the “nose scratch” on 22 seconds when he talks about the “special relationship”. The theory goes that when we lie, the nose fills with blood as the blood pressure rises – the “Pinocchio Effect”. This causes nerves in the nose to tingle and so we scratch to remove the “itch”!
As always, these signs should not be read in isolation but in clusters. However, the timing is delightful!
